About Us

Akwa Ibom Hall of Fame is a creation of LUNA TV LTD, one of Nigeria’s foremost media strategy, corporate publicity and communication management firms promoted and managed by some of the nation’s best hands and brains in Journalism and public affairs. It is created as an honor roll to recognize indigenes of Akwa Ibom State who have distinguished themselves in different areas of human existence.

Akwa Ibom Hall of Fame came out from the euphoria of the successful publication and presentation of the first edition of Who’s Who In Akwa Ibom State published and presented in 2014 by a sister organization – Main Trends Ltd, which had just before then successfully  published Nigeria’s trailblazing and pioneer environment newspaper – National Environment.

The determination to create this distinct entity – Akwa Ibom Hall of Fame, was further strengthened by our successful planning, management and hosting of the first ever National Environment Summit, albeit in collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Environment, Abuja

To honour well-deserving citizens who shall have contributed most outstandingly to the making and development of Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria and humanity.

OUR MISSION

To induct most distinguished world-class citizens of Akwa Ibom extraction as reward for their services to the State and mankind; with cognizance to moral and intellectual probity, accountability, ingenuity, integrity and professional/career exploits

OUR OBJECTIVES

  1. To promote and reward excellence in public and private life
  2. To engage in advocacy for moral rebirth, accountability and responsibility in public and private life
  3. To promote the virtues or values of handwork, diligence, patriotism and national service
  4. To organize workshops, talk-shops, seminars campaigns, etc
  5. To publish promotional items, newspaper, handbills, fliers, etc
  6. To promote charity work, humanitarian and community service.
  7. To promote national peace, peaceful co-existence, harmony and national brotherhood.
